Dr. Brandon Ely just finished his Ph.D. in molecular biology at the CUNY Graduate Center and Hunter College. His doctoral research focused on genomics and transmission cycle dynamics of the Lyme disease pathogen Borrelia burgdorferi. He enjoys teaching biology at various CUNY campuses and is a member of the Teaching and Learning Collaboratory at Macaulay.
