These data are current as of 8\/01\/2015.<\/p>\n

We are still waiting for lab identification of a number of arthropod species. These files will be updated as those data come in. Links below will take you to another page where you can download the file by clicking on the link in that new page.<\/p>\n

NYBG-BioBlitz-Species-List-and-Observations-Dec-28<\/a>\u00a0– This file has the 2014 BioBlitz observations divided by taxon team. There is also a summary of team totals, and the species list that just has unique species (not number of times observed or location). The zones we used in the park are shown on this map \u2013 NYBG-BioBlitz-Zone-Map<\/a>2014<\/a><\/p>\n

2014-iNaturalist-NYBG-Observations<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 This file has all exported data from the BioBlitz observations that were logged on the iNaturalist database. There is also a help file (iNaturalist-Observation-File-Help-2014<\/a>) that defines the columns in the spreadsheet.<\/p>\n

Below are links to the .kml files for location data that can be used in mapping programs. There are three\u00a0files because of a 200 observation limit in iNaturalist and a search that can only include one day at a time (Sept 7 has over 200 observations). Note that these files have all the iNaturalist observations. You can make your own filtered lists and maps though iNaturalist directly. If you go to the observation search page you can type in your parameters (day and taxon of interest) and search. At the bottom of the results page will be a link to the .kml file.\u00a0Because of iNat\u2019s quirks, you will need to add the \u201c&limit=200&page=1\u2033 (without the quotation marks) to the end of the search results url to get all of the data in one place if there are more than 200 observations.<\/p>\n
