Photo: Outward Bound<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As Macaulay celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, the College welcomed the incoming freshmen class through its newly refined orientation. This year, Outward Bound Day was held on Governor&#8217;s Island, rather than Central Park like in previous years. Guided by their student leaders, freshmen participated in various initiatives that emphasized teamwork, cooperation, and camaraderie. Each group also partook in a scavenger hunt, rather than a poetry slam. <\/p>\n<p>Technology Day was split into two sessions to accommodate for the unprecedented number of students in the Class of 2015. Macaulay ITFs distributed approximately 500 laptops this year.<\/p>\n<p>The administration revamped the third day of freshmen orientation as well; instead of Theater Day, students attended Arts Day. Students arrived at Hunter College for Macaulay&#8217;s first Organizational and Resources Fair. Representatives from Macaulay&#8217;s numerous clubs and publications greeted the incoming class while promoting their respective organizations.
