Dawson in 2007, was created &ldquo;as an outlet for his choreographic goals and vision.&rdquo; It made its debut in New York City in the fall of 2014, and has returned for its second year of performances at the college from September 25th until the 27th.<\/p>\n<p>The six dancers: Jordan Drew, Ilaria Guerra, Isaiah Bindel, Frankie Lee III, Alexander Vargas, and William Fowler performed in monochromatic leotards and metallic shorts, across a black faded background that encompassed a brightly lit stage. Kyle McKee was the head of Photo &amp; Film. The music had a range from soft melodies to powerful, bold rock-sounding tunes.<\/p>\n<p>George Dawson, who currently teaches and choreographs for all the LINES Ballet Educational&nbsp;Program, has choreographed and directed numerous shows throughout the United States and is very well accredited for his motion projects.<\/p>\n<p>The performance chronicled &ldquo;a journey that explore[d] the fantastic athleticism of Dawson&rsquo;s artistry.&rdquo; According to the Baruch advertisement, each movement expressed during the show was &ldquo;a testament to the company&rsquo;s mission of breaking down the barriers placed on classical technique&rdquo; in an effort to &ldquo;reinvent movement and space.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>On its website, dawsondancesf boasts the wide range, plethora of shows in which the company has performed throughout the Tri-State area.<\/p>\n<p>Maria Katsoulis, an attendant of the Friday showing, found the performance to be &ldquo;magical&rdquo; and &ldquo;enlightening,&rdquo; recommending it to people passionate for the theater.
