{"id":1337,"date":"2015-11-20T22:54:25","date_gmt":"2015-11-21T03:54:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eportfolios.macaulay.cuny.edu\/macaulayscholarscouncil\/?page_id=1337"},"modified":"2025-08-02T22:05:23","modified_gmt":"2025-08-02T22:05:23","slug":"executive-board","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/openlab.macaulay.cuny.edu\/mhcsc\/executive-board\/","title":{"rendered":"Executive Board"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>President: <\/strong>Susan Lin (City College &#8217;27) <a href=\"mailto:susan.lin@macaulay.cuny.edu\">\u2709<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Presides over MSC at large.<\/li>\n<li>Answers any questions or concerns.<\/li>\n<li>Chairs meetings of MSC.<\/li>\n<li>Consolidates the agenda.<\/li>\n<li>Enforce the attendance policy.<\/li>\n<li>Shall have the tie-breaking vote.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vice President of Academic Affairs:<\/strong> Tin Ng (Brooklyn &#8217;27) <a href=\"mailto:tinhang.ng@macaulay.cuny.edu\">\u2709<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reports to MSC about the College Council and their updates.<\/li>\n<li>Promote special course offerings pertaining to curriculum and classes.<\/li>\n<li>Shall represent the needs of MHC students pertaining to Academic Affairs.<\/li>\n<li>Liaison to campus advisors.<\/li>\n<li>Shall chair a committee consisting of representatives of the MSC to facilitate these duties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vice President of Campus Affairs:<\/strong> Audrey Adon (Lehman &#8217;27) <a href=\"mailto:audrey.adon-rosario@macaulay.cuny.edu\">\u2709<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Defines and maintains procedures a for the creation of new Macaulay student clubs and pubs.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures club events are open to a broad Macaulay population (i.e. working with IT\/Communications as necessary.)<\/li>\n<li>Liaison for all student clubs\/leaders to MSC.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures clubs are active.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews Club Charters for new clubs.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates co-club interaction\/events.<\/li>\n<li>Shall chair a committee consisting of representatives of the MSC to facilitate these duties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vice President of Community Service:<\/strong> Emmy DeMuro (CSI &#8217;26) <a href=\"mailto:emmmademuro@gmail.com\">\u2709<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinates community service events accessible to all students.<\/li>\n<li>Promotes community service opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Works with student clubs pertaining to community service and connect clubs to community service organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Works with the Academic Affairs committee and Macaulay administration to examine and update the Macaulay community service requirement as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Shall chair a committee consisting of representatives of the MSC to facilitate these duties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vice President of Finance:<\/strong> Zoe George (John Jay &#8217;28) <a href=\"mailto:zoe.george@macaulay.cuny.edu\">\u2709<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Consolidates the budget.<\/li>\n<li>Chairs meeting of club budget committee and schedule meetings as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Shall approve and allocate club funding.<\/li>\n<li>Shall maintain accurate records of the budget.<\/li>\n<li>Shall Coordinate club budget appeals.<\/li>\n<li>Aids club officers and MSC members with financial questions\/situations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vice President of IT\/Communications:<\/strong> Ralph Osias (John Jay &#8217;27) <a href=\"mailto:rmontasosias@gmail.com\">\u2709<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manages website and social media.<\/li>\n<li>Assists clubs with advertising.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring easy communication within the council.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for taking minutes and posting on website.<\/li>\n<li>Advertising MSC general meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Shall chair a committee consisting of representatives of MSC to facilitate these duties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vice President of Student Life:<\/strong> Nasir Anderson (Queens &#8217;27) <a href=\"mailto:nasir.anderson@macaulay.cuny.edu\">\u2709<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinates MSC social events (Spring Formal, Halloween Party, Diversity Day, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Working with groups that plan stand-alone events (Arts Night, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates diversified program of concerts, films, and other social and cultural functions in order to provide the broadest possible scope of activities available to Macaulay student body.<\/li>\n<li>Shall chair a committee consisting of representatives of the MSC to facilitate these duties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President: Susan Lin (City College &#8217;27) \u2709 Presides over MSC at large.
