    1. Commons will be used longer than expected. Oh construction woes\u2026\n
        \n
      1. 3rd floor 3N will soon be used for needed office space<\/li>\n
      2. Bare with Macaulay as the building is under construction<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. Internships\n
          \n
        1. Jan 2014 \u2013 when Gianina joined us!<\/li>\n
        2. New grant: a new intern and hire will help to develop a new system for internships across all interests that Macaulay students are focused on.\n
            \n
          1. Certain schools have started seeing the system (Lehman, John Jay)<\/li>\n
          2. The \u201cSimplicity\u201d system will allow for resumes to be uploaded<\/li>\n
          3. Will help create a resume book<\/li>\n
          4. Also has a resource library\n
              \n
            1. Helping Students Thinking About Changing Majors: information about opportunities based on different majors like timelines<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
            2. Will be able to tell you if you\u2019re qualified right off-the-bat.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              • Uh oh, people are emailing Gianina about internships from NYU, India, etc! Especially an issue with organizations who offer Macaulay-only internships who don\u2019t want the general public to see.\n
                  \n
                1. A new form has been added to post to try and prevent these issues.<\/li>\n
                2. A new system will be implemented once it\u2019s figured out<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                    \n
                  1. New resume book system would help students to opt in and see only the positions they are most interested in. ~a more personalized Macaulay Monday<\/li>\n
                  2. For Macaulay Now posts if it says contact Gia for more information, those are MHC student specific. If not, it is ok to share those opportunities with others.<\/li>\n
                  3. CUNY 2020: pitched ideas for cabaret room<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      1. If there\u2019s an organization that you\u2019d like to intern at, let her know! She\u2019ll keep an eye out and see what can be done.<\/li>\n
                      2. If there\u2019s a bug, glitch, error on the Macaulay Now site, let her know! She\u2019ll make sure it\u2019s fixed.<\/li>\n
                      3. If you\u2019re a club leader and want to cohost an event, let her know! Macaulay would love to work with you.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                                                                                        3. Mabuhay<\/u>: focusing on working with the organization they work with to figure out their summer trip to help aid relief from tycoons and environmental justice<\/li>\n
                                                                                        4. Global Brigades<\/u>: 50 people came for regional conference and attending workshops. No more event plans for the rest of the year. Next is the trips: Medical\/Dental\/Public Health Brigade in Nicaragua and Human Rights Brigade in Panama<\/li>\n
                                                                                        5. Psych Update<\/u>: newsletter complete, needs to be printed. Working on plans for wellness event.<\/li>\n
                                                                                        6. Messenger<\/u>: working on next issue<\/li>\n
                                                                                        7. Law Society<\/u>: Event at Columbia law<\/li>\n
                                                                                        8. Hillel<\/u>: launch next semester, want speakers<\/li>\n
