one or two excuses is fine; if you have commitments on most Sundays, you shouldn\u2019t be on the Council; haven\u2019t seen half of the members in meetings<\/p>\n<p>ii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Kaitlyn \u2013 difference between involvement on campus and MSC; support for the charter and enforcing it, supporting Kate\u2019s plan<\/p>\n<p>iii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Kwame \u2013 shocked; disadvantaged because we adjudicate between seven different campuses; satellites at different schools; limiting students from participating<\/p>\n<p>iv.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Jenna \u2013 unprofessionalism in emails; we are a community working together; nasty comments going back and forth<\/p>\n<p>v.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Thomas \u2013 stand by enforcing the charter; wasn\u2019t informed on how the email blast was sanctioned and who was sanctioned; miscommunication; intentions were for the benefit of the council and serving the charter<\/p>\n<p>vi.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Meagan \u2013 supports current charter; meeting to agree to this new policy; clearly stating what is an excused absence in the charter<\/p>\n<p>vii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cathy \u2013 Minutes should be sent out on a more timely basis; communication needs to improve<\/p>\n<p>viii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Kate \u2013 communication is very important; delegating responsibilities; administrator to look at these types of emails <strong>before<\/strong> these are sent out<\/p>\n<p>ix.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Anthony \u2013 undemocratic to kick people out; change the policy to make them meet with other reps from their campus<\/p>\n<p>x.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Joshua \u2013 satellite idea is good; at the same time, strongly support charter; have specific meeting time go out with nominations next year<\/p>\n<p>xi.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Amal \u2013 support charter; exceptions exist; made a commitment, keep it; Communications Committee is supposed to do this<\/p>\n<p>xii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Drew \u2013 room for going over charter; \u201cflaming, bombing email\u201d \u2013 these emails will find their way to administrators; consequences to this; send private<\/p>\n<p>xiii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Kate \u2013 support charter; need to be able to expel members; way it was handled was disappointing; we are representing Macaulay, need to present them professionally; if you have legitimate reason, tell us; start on a clean slate<\/p>\n<p>vii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 IT Committee will create a set statement to send out for warnings<\/p>\n<p>viii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Vote to amend to \u201cIf a representative misses the allotted two meetings per semester, he\/she will receive an email from the communications committee that will serve as a warning.
