This job reports to the Macaulay Director of Academic Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Job Duties include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Train faculty and students to use OpenLab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set up and maintain OpenLab sites for courses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop a menu of on-demand workshops available for students and faculty; deliver workshops as needed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and implement project-based support as needed for Macaulay Seminars<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hold regular support (office) hours weekly open to the Macaulay community<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support and staff experiential learning events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work closely with faculty teaching the seminars to integrate technology and student-centered pedagogy into the curricula and assignments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support students\u2019 work on seminar projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend, participate, and\/or lead portions of some class sessions, as appropriate to each instructor\u2019s seminar section<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify and suggest various forms of technology and other project-based learning suitable to meet the goals of each seminar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend Common Events associated with each seminar, including Macaulay orientation activities,Macaulay Night at the Museum, BioBlitz, STEAM Festival, Imagining New York Conference, and other seminar-related events, as well as other co-curricular activities as required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in ongoing training and attend regular meetings with TLC cohort<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare training documents, FAQs, and other technical support materials for students, faculty, and Grad As\/NTAs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work closely with campus Macaulay Directors and Advisors to promote the Macaulay&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>community, improve the use of technology, and make the best use of instructional technology on each campus as well as at the central Macaulay offices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work closely with the Macaulay Director of Academic Affairs, TLC Postdoctoral Fellows, and others in the central Macaulay offices to facilitate the use of technology in Macaulay curricula, communications, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stay abreast of innovations in instructional design, instructional technology, and scholarship of teaching and learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other projects as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is typically an NTA V role with 225 hours each in fall and spring, and 175 hours in the summer. Eligible candidates may also be hired as Grad As.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This appointment is contingent on department\/program needs, and\/or financial capacity, and\/or&nbsp;enrollment, and compliance with the University&#8217;s policies.
