It wasn\u2019t until a group member took a picture of an artwork, and they realized that they forgot to take a picture of the name, that I started to form a connection. I thought, \u201cif only there was a way for us to just submit the photo of the piece and get back the information\u201d. That\u2019s when I had an idea. If we had information about all the art on a database, we could access it. Then, we could use AI to recognize the piece of artwork, which would search the database and return the information, like the name, artist, media, etc. I thought this was a pretty cool connection between two things that weren\u2019t very related.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am a computer science major, so at first I struggled to see any connection between the art and culture at this museum and computer science.
