Throughout the play, we see the relationships between each member grow and deteriorate at alarming rates, ending with them eventually falling apart.

We chose this piece of theater to talk about because we found the process of David Adjmi writing the play very interesting. He created this play just as he was ready to give up theater entirely. However, after writing this play, it reignited his love for playwriting. We are grateful that we had the opportunity to enjoy this play first-hand. It wasn’t hard for us to complete this project because the play was enjoyable to watch.

We want people to see this slideshow and take away how amazing the play was to experience. We also want the audience to use Adjimi as inspiration to not give up on their own personal projects. While it may be tough sometimes to keep doing the same thing over and over, at some point you may have a breakthrough that can help take you out of a slump. We hope that this virtual visit of the play “Stereophonic” inspires people to go out and explore NYC’s off-broadway scene, and that it shows people that progress will occur if you try and try again.

This slideshow provides information about “Stereophonic”, a play by David Adjmi.
