Here is some other important information about the event.

  • All sessions take place in person at the Macaulay building, 35 W 67 Street.
  • You will present in groups.
  • Each group must assign one contact person who will register your group and provide the names of the other participants as well as a title for your presentation. All group members attend the event together.
  • Your group will be presenting on a panel with groups from other classes and campuses.
  • Carefully proofread the information you submit. We post programs with names and presentation titles as submitted.
  • Groups choose one time slot on one conference day. Slots are first-come, first-served. We are unable to hold multiple spots for one group.
  • The presentations are 10 minutes. (Presentations cannot go over the 10 minutes, so you will need to practice!). Each session will also have a Q&A period that is not counted against the 10 minutes.
  • Practice in advance and know who will cover each of your slides. Make sure that each group member has a copy of the final presentation file.
  • Each time slot will be divided into two one-hour long panels, with concurrent panels running. You and your group will be presenting on one of the panels. For the other, you will be an audience member. Plan to stay for the full two hours.
  • Your group will be able to choose whichever date is convenient for you. Register early to get the most choice of dates and times.
  • Entire classes are not expected to attend the same session. We cannot provide dedicated space for single classes. Presentations will be grouped by shared topics or themes to encourage cross-campus discussions of your research projects.
  • Macaulay will provide a moderator for each session.
