    Course Withdrawal Information

Students who wish to withdraw from a course at Queens College (CUNY) must do so by the official withdrawal deadline listed on the academic calendar. The withdrawal deadline for the Fall 2025 semester is November 6th.

Check Holds:
Go to CUNYfirst > Student Center > Tasks and Holds to view any holds on your account.

Macaulay Advisement Hold (MHE):
All Macaulay students have an MHE hold that prevents registration changes. This will be cleared after you meet with your advisor.

Financial Aid Tasks:
Make sure you’ve filed your FAFSA and TAP applications. Complete any outstanding financial aid tasks under CUNYfirst > Student Center > Tasks and Holds.

Bursar Holds (BUR, BIH, etc.):
These indicate unpaid tuition or fees. You must pay or resolve them before you can register.
