Registration Holds
Do you have a hold preventing you from registering? Take action as soon as possible!
Check Holds:
Go to CUNYfirst > Student Center > Tasks and Holds to view any holds on your account.
Macaulay Advisement Hold (MHE):
All Macaulay students have an MHE hold that prevents registration changes. This will be cleared after you meet with your advisor.
Financial Aid Tasks:
Make sure you’ve filed your FAFSA and TAP applications. Complete any outstanding financial aid tasks under CUNYfirst > Student Center > Tasks and Holds.
Bursar Holds (BUR, BIH, etc.):
These indicate unpaid tuition or fees. You must pay or resolve them before you can register.
