Community Service

The Community Service committee aims to make service a bigger part of the Macaulay student experience by fostering community through college-wide service initiatives and by working with student clubs to spread their reach and individual missions.

At Macaulay, there are several different community service opportunities including the Macaulay Service Initiative and Help the Homeless.

Please remember that you need 30 service hours completed by the end of your junior year to meet your community service requirement for Macaulay. You can access a list of service opportunities here.

The committee is chaired by Vice President of Community Service, Emmy DeMuro. For questions or inquiries please contact emma.demuro@macaulay.cuny.edu.

There is also a food pantry on the third floor conference room for students to take meals as needed.
