The Poppies on the Isles of Shoals by Childe Hassam (1859-1935).
This work of art invoked strong feelings in me because I felt very calm as soon as I looked at it. Even though it was very noisy with a bunch of people around me, as soon as I looked into the painting I felt it speak to me. I loved the vivid colors and everything about it.
