Michael’s Winter Class

This winter I took a winter class – ENGL 130. The class was nearly three hours a day, so it was pretty intense. But I am glad I did it since it allowed me to take ENGL 170W during the spring semester. It was also an enjoyable class and I liked the book I read, Notes from Underground, by Fyodor Dostoevsky.

One winter highlight was watching Avatar 3: Fire and Ash at AMC with my sister. I watched it on the day of my last final. It was really good; maybe cried like 4 times during the movie. I really love the Avatar franchise. I may watch it again in theatre. 🙂

It is impossible to walk some streets in queens because of the snow. Even my dog can’t find a patch of grass to use the bathroom in the morning. The snow outside the street is grey and yellow and stiff. When snow isn’t shoveled at the bus stop, u have to step over the dirty ice and hope u don’t slip. The Q25 has been delayed everyday since the snow storm (._.) 0/10 experience commuting in the winter.
