About Lisa

Lisa Brundage is Director of Academic Affairs at Macaulay Honors College, CUNY. As an alumna of the CUNY Graduate Center’s English Program, Lisa benefited from CUNY’s focus on training graduate students to be great teachers. She participated in the Writing Across the Curriculum Fellows program and the Instructional Technology Fellows program, beginning her professional affiliation with Macaulay Honors College in 2005. Her dissertation work was mentored by Jane Marcus, Michele Wallace, Robert Reid-Pharr, and Jesse Daniels.

At Macaulay, Lisa has built a large portfolio of projects, working as a Postdoctoral Instructional Technology Fellow before becoming Director of CUNY Advance, a special project that supported faculty-driven classroom technology development. After that, Lisa served as Director of Teaching, Learning, and Technology at Macaulay before transitioning into her current role. She manages large, complex student learning events including Night at the Museum and BioBlitz. Lisa manages the Macaulay Teaching and Learning Collaboratory and OpenLab. She is especially motivated to support the graduate students in the TLC program and to help faculty and students find joy in their teaching and learning through both analog and digital projects.
