Hello, Science Forward Faculty!

This OpenLab site is a template you can clone for your own course. It is structured in a way that follows the sample syllabus on the OER: a class that meets twice a week and contains 15 units. The units follow those in the sample syllabus as well and include the specific learning outcomes I focus on when I teach each unit. Please feel free to adjust these as needed to customize for your own course and the topics and skills you want to focus on for each unit. The assessments (major assignments and “Science and the City”) also follow those in the sample syllabus. The only required assessment is the poster project. The rest are up to you, so again, feel free to make changes here!

Note: Readings/Videos directly link to OER or other open content. Students may need to find non-open content via their campus library or whatever way you decide to set up electronic readings.
