Space, the final frontier…

This week we will be exploring the vast temporal and spatial scales of astronomy. We will discuss how astronomers use light as data – what can light tell us? what can we derive from this information? We will also take a dive into the intersection of science and ethics with a discussion of the proposed Thirty Meter Telescope in Hawaii.
