There were not one, but two “Nuts 4 Nuts” carts by Bethesda Terrace in Central Park. This park, inspired and designed by architects Andew Jackson Downing, Frederick Law Olmsted, and Calvert Vaux, is a total of 840 acres and stretches from 59th Street to 110th Street between Fifth and Eighth avenues. While you can typically find the “Nuts 4 Nuts” carts by searching for their iconic orange umbrellas around neighborhoods such as Times Square or Gramercy Park, their umbrellas in the park are green. Central Park juxtaposes the environment of the rest of the city with it’s easy-going, relaxed feel.

You can see families walking with their babies in strollers, businessmen in the middle of a call rushing past a young couple, and elderly sitting on park benches to watch the pigeons. As Central Park is a prominent part of Manhattan, it attracts many tourists to the location. This is why there are numerous food trucks and carts dispersed around the 840 acres park. (Some even overcharge due to popularity and overwhelming amounts of tourists passing through.) Since this location is so busy, it makes complete sense why there would be much business for “Nut 4 Nuts” carts as two of the numerous carts and food trucks around the park.
