Fragmented Green Spaces: Wildlife Patterns in New York

This project examines how golf courses impact wildlife and ecosystem dynamics. Understanding the ecological consequences of golf course fragmentation allows for a more effective understanding of the benefits and drawbacks of these recreational greenspaces. In the context of current conservation efforts these insights can be significant. By investigating the effects of fragmented greenspaces in New York State this research can influence urban planning decisions or push residents’ focus toward strategies that decrease ecological harm.
