Our research aims to explore and analyze the change in bee diversity in response to urban environments such as NYC. By analyzing this relationship, we can gain insights into the effects of urbanization on bee populations and the potential repercussions for our environment.
Living in New York City can be overwhelming, so we wanted to see how exposure to green spaces, whether it be the big parks or small hidden gems, effected people’s stress levels and mental health.
Does the urban nature of cities affect the way our neighborhood squirrels behave? That is the question that we want to answer through this project through both research from articles as well as collected data on our own from 4 distinct parks.
