This project explores the effect of socioeconomic status on COVID-19 infection rates in the 5 boroughs of NYC. Using income data from the U.S. Census Bureau and case number data from the NYC Health Department, we conducted a linear regression statistical analysis to investigate whether there is a correlation. Our findings show that there is no statistically significant correlation between household income and COVID-19 infection rates across NYC.
