The project describes a process called Cryo-Crystallography and how utilizing this process, three scientists managed to do the impossible, create a 3D atomic level model of the ribosome. The ribosome is where our body translates genetic code into proteins. Proteins are essential for any bodily function. After finally achieving the 3D model of the ribosome, it was finally possible to explore and research how the ribosome functions, and how the process of genetic translation works. This discovery helped researchers learn how to differentiate between a bacterial ribosome and a human one, which led to the creation of  more effective antibiotics.
