When you first enter, you notice that Royal Crown is not too big, but is filled with lots customers. Some on line for pastries, some sitting down for food. The atmosphere was a classic Italian bakery vibe. One of the first things I noticed was how friendly everyone was. The workers and the customers. As you sit, you can see the entire display of pastries, cookies, cakes, and fresh bread, which adds to the overall experience and makes the place feel like a true Italian bakery.

Royal Crown Bakery is one of Staten Island’s go to spots for traditional Italian food and pastries, offering both bakery and kitchen in one place. This allows customers to enjoy a full meal and then finish it off with classic Italian desserts, making it a unique dining experience.
The menu offers a variety of options. This includes sandwiches, pasta, salads, and hot food that changes every day, along with a variety of baked goods and desserts. The portions are large, and the prices are relatively cheap considering the quality and quantity of food you receive.

I ordered a hero with mozzarella, chicken cutlets, roasted peppers, and balsamic glaze. It was amazing. The best Italian hero I have ever had. The mozzarella that is made fresh everyday, the crispy chicken cutlets, the sweet roasted peppers, and their home made balsamic glaze. For dessert, I had a cannoli, which was a perfect way to end the meal. We also got their signature chocolate bread to go, which is Italian bread with little bits of chocolate in it.

Overall, my experience at Royal Crown Bakery was extremely positive. The food, atmosphere, and friendly environment made me definitely want to return. It captures the feeling of a traditional Italian bakery while delivering high quality food at great value.
