Located in the neighborhood of New Dorp, Pho 60 is a new Vietnamese restaurant serving many varieties of pho and other Vietnamese cuisine. Their pho comes with dozens of different options for proteins, ranging from fish, to grilled meats, and they also offer vegetarian options. It comes out with just the broth, noodles, onions, and the protein with the toppings on the side so you can customize your bowl. Toppings include bean sprouts, slices of lemon, and Thai basil. They also keep condiments like Sriracha, hoisin sauce, white pepper, and soy and fish sauce on the table so you can adjust to your liking.

The food itself is an experience. The broth is rich and flavorful, and each style of pho has a different flavor profile. Inside the restaurant, there’s many decorative plants and a “tree” in the center of the room. The lighting is somewhat dim and there’s a lot of natural light from the windows at the front of the restaurant. It’s a simple place but has a calm environment which makes it an amazing place to go to with company. Portions are generous and reasonably priced. Although their pho is the star of the menu, they also offer many different appetizers, banh mi (sandwiches), cold noodle salads, and rice dishes. The desserts aren’t to be overlooked either, although there’s only a few. They have mango sticky rice and tapioca pie, which both come out warm and perfectly sweet. There is an option for everyone at Pho 60!
