Our project focused on the things we find beautiful about living in New York, from art installations, to sunsets, to finding Lightning McQueen in Brooklyn. The little things are what make New York such a special place to live in and why people across the world dream of living in this city. This collage reflects our belief in not taking the small moments in our lives for granted and acknowledging that there is beauty everywhere, even in the mundane.
We were able to explore art installations across different boroughs and through the images we each took individually, explore what each of us considered to be beautiful about our lives in New York. Through this project, we were able to explore different perspectives and ideas about art and beauty in mundane things.
