Chaos – a short film that explores the mental health challenges college students face while balancing classes, work, and personal responsibilities. Through the narrator’s perspective, viewers are immersed in the thoughts, pressures, and moments of overwhelm that come with trying to manage it all. The storytelling style offers an intimate and immersive experience, giving the audience a deeper understanding of what it feels like to live through these daily struggles: inspired by Oppenheimer.

How did completing your project help you explore the role of arts in the lives of New Yorkers and their communities?

Working on Chaos helped us see how the arts can reflect what life is really like for people in New York. Making the film let us show what it feels like to deal with mental health struggles, school, work, and life all at once. It made us realize that sharing stories like this can help people relate, understand each other, and start conversations about things we don’t usually talk about in our communities.
