The original L&B’s Spumoni Gardens is in Gravesend on 86th Street between Avenue V and Lake Place. Though offering a number of food items, they are most known for their Sicilian pies and titular spumoni.1 This location has a large outdoor seating area that has been fenced off and placed under a giant tent, where they sometimes host parties. The vibe is more rustic, cozy, perhaps intimate, in a way. It is the sort of a place one might visit for dinner as a family, as I know I have on numerous occasions. Compared to the second location, it is more of a sit-down restaurant, having a more expansive menu, but longer wait times; though certainly it would not be considered fast food.2 Currently the first location is more well-known and has more of a community around it.3
