L&B’s newest location is in Dumbo, along Old Fulton Street. Due to the more urban nature of Dumbo as a neighborhood, this location does not have room for the same large-scale outdoor seating that the first location does. Thus, it cannot accommodate the same events and large group seating, making it perhaps less friendly for a proper sit-down dinner.¹ Additionally, it is in close proximity to two other historic pizzerias: Grimaldi’s and Juliana’s.² The Dumbo location has a less extensive menu than the Gravesend location, but it has more ovens to make more pizza faster for the comparatively greater number of people walking by and patronizing in Dumbo.³ In comparison to the first location, the second location is more of an express food stop, though certainly it would not be considered fast food. The hope for the second location is that people will stop by while shopping or attending to other matters in the area.⁴
